When The Sims games came into being, they amused us quite a fair bit. The idea of living an entire life of a choppy 3D character in a gaming console was different and exciting. There are options to select your own skin color, choose the shape of your eyes, adjust your height and wear whatever you please. It’s kind of like playing dress up but that’s only the beginning of the fun part. Players can also give their Sims their own unique personalities and traits as well.

The objective of this game is to survive in the daily struggles of your Sim’s life. Unlike some other popular Sims titles, this one doesn’t feature a deserted island or an abandoned house. It’s a pretty straight forward game with a natural setting. Your goal is to progress in love step by step as you build your own home, achieve your career dreams, marry the love of your life, and more. The Sims also supports tons of customization features to make the gaming experience feel more personalized and innovative. Apart from creatively building your character, you can also decorate your home whatever way you please.

You can choose your career goals, dive into relationships with whoever you want, and pursue hobbies of your choice. What’s more, you can take your Sim character out to party, visit exotic restaurants, fashion studios or have a good night out at the club. As you complete one milestone after another, you’re eventually forced to make more adult decisions in the game. This includes choosing your life partner and the person you want to marry. This also includes furthering in your career.

The career you choose can be from a fashion designer to a doctor – the options are plenty. You can also pursue certain hobbies like playing the guitar or singing. When you choose a life partner, you can marry them and then start a family with them as well. But this happens quite later in the game when you’re well established.

The Sims had always been a fan favorite but only few of the games in this series supported online playing. The Sims has always been a one-man adventure and while we appreciated that, there’s also a lot of fun in joining with other The Sims players. Lucky for us, The Sims Mobile game lets users play together online. You can host parties and invite other Sims players. You can also attend parties of other Sims players.

In this online mode, you get the chance to show off your home to other players or seek inspiration from the décor of others. You can even fall in love with another online Sim player or move into their house.

The Sims Mobile also features a bunch of daily events like the Market Square Music Festival or the Speed Dating in the Park. These daily events can help you boost your rankings and help you achieve your goals more quickly in the game. There are certain roadblocks in The Sims game that can only be overcome by making some in-app purchases. This can be quite frustrating to a Sims fan. Nonetheless, The Sims does a good job in impressing us even as a smartphone app.
