Sky Rusher description

Sky Rusher is a game for the lovers of fast racing games. Board your space ship and travel at light speed across the levels avoiding obstacles and collecting as many orbs as you can. The game has many modes and every level will be more challenging than the previous.

The Review

The main goal of the game is to complete the level without crashing the spaceship. Every level has its own obstacles, some of these obstacles will move making them harder to avoid. Hidden or in difficult spots the player can find crystal orbs, the player need to gather as much as possible to unlock new spaceships. The number of available spaceships is diverse, starting from a jet going to Star Trek’s Enterprise or Star War’s TIE fighter.

The player can completed the normal game mode, in which the spaceship will have to survive through a series of obstacles in a fixed scenario or the challenge modes. In these challenge modes the player can boost the spaceship speed X1.5, X1.7, X2 or survive for fixed amount of time 30, 60 or 120 seconds. Each increase of the challenge will result in a higher difficulty but the player will be rewarded with extra orbs to gather.

The graphics of the game are designed to be simple, most of the obstacles are simple figures. Every level will have a different illumination color in the background to reveal the obstacles as the player progress through it. Despite of its simplicity the player will enjoy the graphics as it let them focus into progress through the level without distractions.

The game is free to play, in order to buy new spaceships the player will have to gather orbs located in each level. No real money can be used to buy the spaceships; the player will have to rely on its skills to unlock all of them.

As is common in the free to play games it contains ads. The ads will appear every time the player loses. Being a game in which the player will crash the spaceship several time before completing a level, this can be frustrating. The player can pay to get the no-ads version of the game

Sky Rusher is a great game to pass the time. Its various levels and different challenges will keep the player busy while he tries to unlock his favorite’s spaceships. Being a game in which the player doesn’t have to pay to win, it can be more rewarding to unlock the crafts. Even though it has intrusive ads every time the player fails, the option to pay to remove them exists.
