It’s up to you to create a sanctuary for survivors and take down the walkers. Players progress in the game by building a safe haven for human survivors. This task includes collecting resources and crafting items for survival. But the main element of The Walking Dead: Road to Survival is combat and how you take down the zombie Walkers.

The combat featured in this game is a turn-based one; a format that we’ve seen in tons of role playing games. Players take down their enemies one by one in all the Walking Dead locations that they may find familiar. Once a battle is won, loot can be collected and there’s more food and supplies for the surviving community to upgrade their town.

The Walking Dead: Road to Survival relies heavily on strategy in not only the combat part of the game but also building your town and progressing in the storyline. Players are asked to make difficult decisions throughout the game and their choice will ultimately lead them to either success or defeat.

Walking Dead fans will appreciate how this game has managed to keep the original theme and concept of the graphic novel alive. The Walking Dead: Road to Survival also features some live in-game events that can be played to obtain exclusive character and more resources to build a more powerful stronghold. The in-game events are different from the main story line and help to expand it which can be quite fun.

All good things aside, The Walking Dead: Road to Survival does have its own share of problems. For starters, the game is believed to face a lot of technical issues lately and might glitch on your device.
