Panda Pop follows the typical bubble shooting format. All you have to do to score and eliminate the bubbles in your path is aim properly, sometimes with skill and other times with sheer tact. What we love about Panda Pop is the story this game manages to incorporate. Instead of the boring guns to shoot bubble, here there’s a panda character that does the throwing (or shooting) for you – and who doesn’t love pandas?

There’s not much depth to the actual plot though but we’re happy enough that it exists. You mission is to defeat the evil baboon and help panda cubs return to their mother. Pretty simple and cutesy, right? The game almost seemed childish but the actual puzzle part increases in difficulty steadily. It’s kind of like Candy Crush, an app that is made for all generations to keep them addicted.

Panda Pop boasts some highly vibrant and colorful graphics. The 3D animations are exemplary and the landscape of each level is quite breath taking. The bubbles that you have to shoot and burst also have very smooth graphics and controls. The bursting effect is appealing to the eye and the controls are breezy.

This game features tons of different levels (over 2000!) but the difficulty gradually rises with each win. You might soon find yourself in a sticky situation and will need to plan your move intelligently. Some impatient players might even be tempted into purchasing the in-app bonuses to breeze their way along the levels. These in-app purchases are, however, unnecessary and a good player at the game can get past any level with the right aim and skill.

As with most other puzzle games, Panda Pop breaks the monotony of the gameplay by dishing in a few power ups. These power ups can be used to burst bubbles over a large area, change the color of the bubbles you’re matching and do more cool stuff. Power ups will need to be earned though and are not always freely available. You can also get some special power up advantages by purchasing them with real money.

Panda Pop also feature extra events in the game to keep the player’s interest. It also showers players with daily rewards and bonuses to keep them playing the game on an everyday basis. New levels are also constantly added to the game with each new update of the app.

You can also connect Panda Pop with your social media accounts and share your progress with your friends. Moreover you can challenge your friends to a one on one duel in the game as well.

Panda Pop is a great game to pass your time. It does come with the baggage of ads as with most free applications but there’s still a lot of overall appeal to this game especially for fans of puzzle and match-3 games.
