In Jetpack Joyride, your main goal is to clear the span of the level by dodging flying meteors, fire and other dangerous barriers while collecting coins and special boosters all at the same time. The controls of Jetpack Joyride are simple enough to understand but the levels can be a challenge to clear. All you need to move your action hero, Barry Steakfries is swipe on the screen for the direction you want him to fly.

There is a short backstory to the game as well but the main emphasis is on the several levels, stages and works instead of the plot. Along the course of the game, players can collect and unlock new jetpacks. The jetpacks that are available in the game number by dozens but you’ll need to gain a certain amount of experience and coins to collect them. You can also fly all of the jetpacks you unlock and add to your collection. If you’re running out of patience and need to buy a new jetpack fast, you could also bring out the real cash and pay for the in-app purchases. This will help you unlock features more quickly but you don’t really require them to make it far in the game. Jetpack Joyride is pretty much a true free to play game, Jetpack Joyride offers a roster of levels and missions that you can take on. Clearing these levels will upgrade your skills and boost your ranks. You can also show off how well you’re doing in the game by sharing your progress with your friends or by checking the leaderboard charts.

There’s a ton to do in the actual game as well. Apart from flying your jetpack dodging lasers, and collecting coins, you can also take control of giant mechanical machines including dragons and more. You can also drive crazy vehicles and other cool sci-fi creations in the missions. There are a lot of customization options in Jetpack Joyride as well. For example, you can equip your player with new and improved high-end gadgets as well as a bunch of different power ups to make him shoot across the level. Jetpack Joyride also supports multiplayer mode. You can invite your friends to play in the game and challenge them one on one.

Jetpack Joyride is a pleasant blend of adventure, arcade and tech.
