Flow Free is a free to play puzzle game with a user base that spans over millions. You’d think a game that’s so popular would have some exemplary graphics but Flow Free is as simple as art can get. The prime focus is on the puzzle game itself and, of course, on the pop of colors that define the game. You can download the app from the Google Play Store or the iTunes store. It’s free but it comes with a load of adverts and in-app purchases that you may be tempted to make.
In this puzzle game created by Big Duck Games your main goal is to connect matching colored dots through a pipe to get a flow going. But there’s a catch. Every time your pipe overlaps or crosses, it will break and you’ll need to restart the level again.
Flow Free is an addictive puzzle game that begins pretty casually but quickly rises in challenge. There will be multiple times you might find yourself stuck and wondering how to make your way out of the puzzle. Flow Free makes you brainstorm and devise clever solutions to a seemingly simple game.
Free Flow provides a limitless puzzle experience to players with 2,500 free puzzles and counting. New levels are continuously added to the game with each new update. There are also two different gaming modes – Free Play and Time Trial. In the Free Play mode you progress level after level without any time restrictions. Some levels are relaxing and casual while others are more difficult to clear.
The Time Trial mode, on the other hand, is a race against the clock. In this mode, you’re required to come up with a solution within the time limit provided. The Time Trial mode is a great option for a quick, adrenaline-rush play if you want to take a break from the main free play mode.
You can also access the in-app store from the main homepage menu where you can make some in-app purchases including an ad-free version of the app. This is actually a pretty tempting purchase because Flow Free is highly notorious for bombarding ad after ad on you that completely destroy your tempo in the app. Ads have always been an issue with most free games and it has always been for Flow Free as well. But the latest updates have further made the problem worse. Now long 30 seconds video ads are played after each or every other level which is the biggest complaint users of the app have against Flow Free.
When it comes to app design and graphics, Flow Free is as simple as art can get. The colors are pretty elementary but shocking to say the least. Great emphasis has been placed in making this app easy to play and understand and appropriate for users of all ages. There are few options in the menu and navigating around Flow Free isn’t difficult at all. Background music and sound effects also keep up with the simplicity of the app but they work well with the theme of Flow Free.
If you’re a fan of puzzle games, Flow Free might become one of your absolute favorites given that you can ignore the recurrent attack of ads.
Flow Free is one of the top apps in the Puzzle app category, which belongs to Big Duck Games LLC. It's last update was on December 18, 2018 and it has been already downloaded 100,000,000+ times. On the app store it has now 1,330,120 reviews. After you get to Flow Free page on the app store, click install & enjoy it.
