This Editor’s Choice game in the Fallout series brings back an exclusive gaming format with several accolades in its name including the Mobile Game of The Year 2016 and Google Play Best of 2015. Fallout Shelter seems like a pretty basic and ordinary game on the outlook with a free installation and availability on both the Google Play Store and the Apple iTunes Store. In actuality, though, this game is pretty spectacular and something that is definitely worth a shot if you’re into simulation games.
There’s a lot happening in Fallout Shelter set in a world of catastrophe and apocalypse. For a brighter future and to save yourself and your community from the wasteland, your goal in Fallout Shelter is to create a perfect underground vault that supplies everything you need to build a happy and flourishing society. There’s a lot of diversity in the options to build your vault including adding a variety of modern-day, state of the art rooms and convert them into an excavation site 2000 feet deep. Fallout Shelter presents with a bizarre theme but we love it!
Customization options in the vault itself are plenty. You can transform worthless junk into pretty useful items in the Crafting menu. You can also customize the look of any person or dweller living in the vault and this happens in the Barbershop. Fallout Shelter, therefore, provides us with a range of flexibility and it’s up to us how we want to shape this new underground community we’re building in the vault.
As the founder of the deep underground vault, it’s your duty to oversee and watch over all of the dwellers in the community as well. You need to make sure they’re happy living in the vault just like any community or city based simulation game would require you to. You can also find the dwellers their ideal jobs in the vault as well as customize their look and provide them with new clothes and unique outfits. Plus, you can also equip your dwellers with weapons and help them hone their skills in battle through training.
It’s important that the dwellers in your community prosper and that’s pretty much the basic objective of Fallout Shelter. To make sure your vault prospers, you need to continually improve the abilities and provide your dwellers with new skills. You can also grow your community to keep it always thriving. For this, you could build a Radio Room to attract more dwellers from the ground above to join you and your underground society in the vault. You can also take an active role the personal lives of each of your dwellers, make them fall in love and get married to increase the population of your underground dwelling.
Fallout Shelter is a complete package with everything that a good simulation game needs to have. There’s also an element of RPG that simply cannot be overlooked in Fallout Shelter. You can send dwellers on the ground above to explore the waste land and to engage in new adventure. Exploration can also help you find new surviving tools, kits, weapons, armors and gain more experience. But you need to watch out for death is a common occurrence in the ground above and you need to make sure none of your dwellers die in their pursuit.
You might also need to protect your vault and defend it from the dangers of post-nuclear life or outside threats time to time. This is why it’s so important to make sure your dwellers are always ready to fight in battle.
